Sapphire and gold swivel ring

A sparkling blue sapphire swivel ring enhanced by gold.  Set with an 8x6mm vibrant sapphire. A truly one of a kind ring made entirely by hand in our studio. 14k yellow gold. 

In offering what would normally be a bespoke ring, the stone and setting are as displayed for presentation or gifting. After this a visit to our studio will be necessary for measuring to get the best size for you, after which a new band will be made in approximately 3 weeks.

Swivel rings date back to ancient Egypt with the finest belonging to the Pharaohs. They're often seen as signet style rings with carved stones, commonly with the scarab beetle which symbolised immortality. Precious gemstones add a different dimension to this piece.
