Rooted in her Afro-Caribbean heritage, Geraldine's contemporary jewellery captures the textures of the terrain seen on her visits and reimagines them.
Her creative process is fuelled by a study of the surroundings, bridging the sweeping, natural terrain of Jamaica with the quiet, everyday observations of her UK allotment.
Her pieces reference our rivers, soil, and wildlife which mark what is is naturally precious. She observes the protection given to all life and the reality of this protection being eroded with the balance of people, place and its elements.
Her tactile, wearable pieces are crafted by hand in her London studio. Made in small numbers or as one-offs from recycled metal, they adorn and portray.
